Talismans for the
Never-never
Outlandish
Bloated dream-mirage
Banners for the vanquished
Thunderbird motel!
Grizzly apartments!

I haven't found Wisdom
He's been shacked up
In a double wide waiting
For the second coming
Of fourth growth pines
And a snappier version
Of a tattooed Jesus
A Savior who'll know
Him by the trash he keeps
